Flounder Gigging Trips
Have you ever experienced flounder gigging like a fisherman from ages past? Do you want to experience the thrills of lining up a gig and catching your very own flounder? Then you'll be happy to know that we now offer Flounder Gigging Trips for both experienced and first-time fishermen.
You'll be outfitted with your very own gig and will be taught everything you need to know about this amazing fishing experience. Whether you want to set out morning, noon, or night, we guarantee that you'll have an unforgettable fishing experience with our flounder gigging tours.
Flounder Gigging Trip Rates
(Rates vary by season)
Boat capacity is 4 passengers and the captain.
2 – people $550 Each additional person is $125 (up to 4 people total).
If you have a larger group ask about hiring another boat or 2. Might be able to accommodate.
Note: children 14 years of age & older can gig. Younger children are considered ride alongs and cannot gig.

When you call Capt. Joe to reserve your flounder gigging trip, he will inform you where to meet and at what time. He'll also give you the other specifics to make your trip the best ever!
Generally, flounder gigging trips depart from two locations:
* Conn Brown Harbor in Aransas Pass
* Near the Ferry Landing in Port Aransas
Both locations are centrally located and easy to get to from Rockport, Port Aransas, Aransas Pass, Ingleside, Portland and Corpus Christi, Texas.
GPS and cell phones are always on-board! Passenger safety is always priority one.

What Capt. Joe Supplies
Alcoholic beverages should be limited for safety concerns.
Captain supplies all equipment for gigging flounder. If you’re planning on bringing your own equipment, please tell the captain first – thank you!
Capt. Joe will clean and bag your fish for your trip home, so keep an ice chest in the car for your trip home!
What You Need To Bring
Favorite snacks and sodas, a jacket as Texas weather can change quickly. Wear solid shoes and bring a camera to capture the memories!
Don’t forget to bring an ice chest, keep it in the car to take your fresh fish back home!
Important: State law requires that you have a valid fishing license with a saltwater stamp. You must have this license before boarding the boat – available at Wal-Mart, HEB and local tackle shops. Click here!

Deposit Is Required: $100
Once you’ve spoken with Capt. Joe and reserved your trip date, a deposit of $100 is required to hold that date for your Flounder Gigging trip adventure!

Cancellation Policy:
* Deposits may be applied to a reschedule for inclement weather.
* No refunds issued unless deemed appropriate by the captain.
* Cancellations made 15 days prior to trip date may be refunded, but only if cancellation is deemed for good reason.
* All other cancellations will be rescheduled within a one-year period from the original date of trip.
* If outside this time-frame, your trip money and deposit is forfeited.
